For the last few months, I've had my heart set on getting a Sportsmobile van camper. I've heard many good things
about them, and felt that a van would be the only kind of RV I would be able to drive, so it would be the only kind I could
get, so I was just narrowing it down to a brand... and Sportsmobile lets you customize the interior, which I need in order
to fit the bird cage in there.
However, a friend of mine at work let me practice hooking up, towing, and backing up her 26' 5th wheel horse trailer
in June, and it wasn't that hard. Scary, but I imagine that part diminishes at least a little with time. So now
I'm doing research on 5th wheels. Right now I'm set on an Americana GS - not sure what length - they're all pretty close
in price... I guess we'll see when I get closer to having my down payment saved up and have practiced more! :-)
