That's right - I'm on Neopets! Have been for five years. My three pets are displayed by "birth order" - Acarliano, the
blue one up top, will be 5 on July 12th, 2009. I created Nanny, the yellow unicorn, 202 days later (Neopets gives
their ages in days). Werallen, the lovely brown creature with a blue mane and tail, is one that I just adopted from the Neopian
Pound today. He is 170 hours old, so he's not very old at all. I've made him my primary neopet for right now. Adopting
him also spurred me to sell my "classic" neohome and upgrade to the new neohome so I could have three bedrooms. Can you tell
I've been off work for a while? :-) All of my Neopets have their own Petpets, as well. Acarliano has a "walking
carpet" named, of course, Chewie. Nanny has a Poppit named Moffit. And I just bought Werallen a Whoot named Olivia (I named
her).
Neopets is a lot of fun. I played it a lot there for a while, then stopped after I left NH back in 2006 - probably because
I had inconsistent internet connectivity. I rediscovered it recently, and once I finally figured out my user name, have
been having a lot of fun again! :-) It's a nice break from Mafia Wars and Vampire Wars on Facebook...

Hi again! Left New England on February 17th - glad to be away from all that snow, although it WAS very pretty.
If I go back, I will be much more prepared - last weekend I bought a new car! A Dodge Journey - all wheel drive, heated seats,
and remote start, which, really, are the only things I cursed my PT Cruiser for not having when I was up there. :-)
The cruise control is the one thing I will definitely like on the cross-country trips from now on, however. Yes, it's
true - for the last three years, I have been driving from state to state without cruise control. I never used it before
anyway because it freaked me out to let the car control the speed (control issues, lol), but the day after I got the
car (crossover, actually - much more room than the Cruiser) I drove from Haysville, KS, to the DFW area in TX. I have
put almost about 1000 miles on my car just in the last week. I have learned to appreciate cruise control now!
I still do not yet have another assignment - the only down side to being a temp is being slightly expensive, and of course
the economy isn't exactly rosy right now. So, I am going to concentrate on the correspondence courses I have neglected
for the last few months, and who knows? Maybe I won't have to worry about assignments so much in the future. :-)
